Bear Waterfall is located at an altitude of 1,600 m above sea level. Its height is 27 meters.
Kairak Waterfall is located at an altitude of 1,900 m above sea level. Its height is 50 meters.
Early morning departure from Almaty.
Transfer to Turgen Gorge, 2 hrs.
Walk to Bear Waterfall, about 1.5 hrs.
Transfer to the trailhead of the Kairak Waterfall, 20 min,
Walk to Kairak Waterfall, about 6 hrs.
Lunch at Kairak Waterfall.
Transfer to the ostrich farm, 1 hr. Walk of 15-20 min.
Return to Almaty, 2 hrs. including stops.
Almaty – Issyk – Turgen village, turn-off into the gorge.

In this regard, the Border Guard Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan asks citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign nationals to stay alert and pay attention to warning signs and information stands when visiting mountain areas (natural sites) located in the border districts of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Additional information on the course of the state border line and the limits of the border zone can be obtained from tour operator representatives or the Border Guard Service of the NSC of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
