This tour is designed for outdoor enthusiasts. The bike route runs over gentle terrain at an altitude of 2300-2600 m. above sea level and finishes with a breathtaking descent. Riding across the plateau, you will get a glimpse of the life of Kazakh shepherds on their summer pastures (jailau). All along the way, the road is accompanied by magnificent views of coniferous forests, snowy peaks and mountain valleys.

Early morning departure from Almaty.
Drive to Turgen Gorge. 2.5 hrs.
Ascent to the Assy Plateau on a dirt road. 1 hr.
Stop to prepare the bicycles.
Bike ride across rugged terrain, 30 km. 4 hrs.
Stop for rest and lunch in the shade by a stream. 1 hr.
End of the bike ride. Loading the bicycles and returning to Almaty.

In this regard, the Border Guard Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan asks citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign nationals to stay alert and pay attention to warning signs and information stands when visiting mountain areas (natural sites) located in the border districts of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Additional information on the course of the state border line and the limits of the border zone can be obtained from tour operator representatives or the Border Guard Service of the NSC of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
