The one-day tour to the petroglyphs on the Ili River is an introductory excursion to ancient rock drawings. On the banks of the Ili River you can walk through the canyons and swim in the river itself. While walking through the canyon you will be able to view and study a monument of monumental art and epigraphy of the 17th–18th centuries – Tamgalytas. The history of its discovery and study goes back more than a hundred years.

Additional information on the course of the state border line and the limits of the border zone can be obtained from tour operator representatives or the Border Guard Service of the NSC of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
